The Faces
Faces, faces everywhere,
Nor any friend in sight.
A few acquaintances here and there,
And fewer still whose names I know
All I've known for only hours
No cause for fear, though, this unknown,
For in this state I'm not alone
In months or weeks I will be known
And in the end, how I'll have grown!
Nor any friend in sight.
A few acquaintances here and there,
And fewer still whose names I know
All I've known for only hours
No cause for fear, though, this unknown,
For in this state I'm not alone
In months or weeks I will be known
And in the end, how I'll have grown!
