easter reflection

for You created me in my inmost being
male and female You created them
let Us make man in Our own image
put him in the Garden of Eden

to work it and take care of it
you shall not give false testimony
against your neighbour
therefore go and make disciples of all nations

you have rejected the Word of the LORD
we all, like sheep, have gone astray
they have one purpose and
will give thier power and authority to the beast

i have seen the things that are done under the sun
all of them are meaningless!
isn't this Bathsheba, the wife of Uriah?
sent word to David, saying, "I am pregnant."
fear God and keep his commandments!
for this is the whole duty of man
someone else saw him and said,
"Cain attacked Abel and killed him
you are also one of them!"
"man, I am not," Peter replied
utterly meaningless! everything is meaningless!

o LORD my God, if I have done this
and there is guilt on my hands
help me, o LORD

who has understood the mind of the LORD?
He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth
before Him the nations are as nothing
see, the Sovreign LORD comes with power
he tends his flock like a shepherd

He was led like a lamb to the slaughter
and as a sheep before her shearer is silent,
so He did not open his mouth
this is the King of the Jews

I tell you the truth: today you will be with me in Paradise
